I started La Loestrin Fe.  The first month went fine, and my period came as it should.  This month, I followed exactly as I should.  However, no period came.  I am a tad concerned, but also know that I followed it correctly.  Has anyone else had this issue?  I will be picking up a test for peace of mind.  On the website, it does say you may miss a period(s).  But, it is nerve wracking none-the-less.  TIA

I'm on Loestrin, and I have at times practically skipped periods. By that I mean that I had all the PMS symptoms that came and went as normal, right on schedule, but then no actual period. I think it's pretty common.

I was on the same pill. i went 80 days with no period... take a test to be sure, but i think your fine.

When I first started on BC I missed 2 periods in a row it freaked me out...apparent its pretty normal to take 2-3 even up to 4-6 months for your body to get used to BC....so take a test if your worried, but chances are its just your body getting confused.

I have taken that before and the same thing happened to me when I first started it. I agree take a test just to be sure but you should be okay. If every month continues this way then call the doctor. But 1-2 is still normal when your body is adjusting.

I am on the same pill. The first few months were horrible. Now I hardly have a period. I will have some spotting but other than that nothing right now. I will have been on it for about a year in September.

I have been on loestrin Fe nearly 3 years now with no periods. It was not as weird as I thought it would be because I can tell when I am close to the end of the pack based on how I feel. That being said how I feel on my "periods" is far less dramatic than when I had actual periods. There are less mood swings, cramping and exhaustion. The only downside I have is less of a sex drive but that is something that can be worked on, where as my 8- 10 day periods with intense cramping, bleeding and mood swings was harder workaround.  I do take a pregnancy test every couple of months or when I am worried just in case.
