Help me pick a nightstand please
I'm currently working on DD's big girl room. She has a white tufted bed with white DKNY chrysanthemum comforter and teal and fuschia accents. Her dresser is espresso. I can't decide if I should find a dark nightstand or not! Seems a little boring to me. I've also thought about a mirrored nightstand...target actually has a cute one for $80. Are those going to be out of style soon though? Or should I upcycle an old nightstand and paint it fuschia or something fun like that? Please help! Thanks

Re: Help me pick a nightstand please
My last choice would be a mirrored table in a kids room...smears, smudges, finger prints and then what if she breaks a mirror on it? You have glass to deal with.
Maybe I'm too practical but I'd go with the espresso piece and put on some funky bright drawer hardware. This way, when she outgrows the bright colors and decides as a teen that those colors aren't "her" anymore you won't have to go and buy a new night stand for her you can just put new drawer hardware in.
It sounds fun and pretty!
For a kids room I love the idea of a bright accent piece. Mirrored, while stylish, doesn't seem ideal for kids.
For what it's worth, I'm about to repaint a toddler bed bright pink
