Question about window seat and what size
I am wanting to build or buy something (expedit shelf possibly) a window seat for LOs room. Here's my question - I put curtains up and I like long ones. So do I make the window seat smaller than the windowsill since the curtains will always be to the sides? Or do I make the window seat the same size as the sill and have the curtains on the outside of it? If I do that, you'll end up seeing the window (I think). Does this make any sense? I dont know what the answer is, so thanks for reading!

I always hang curtains/drapes on the outside (left and right) of the window & never actually on the window to maximize the amount of light in the room.
