Just delivered my baby a little over 2 weeks ago. In the last month of pregnancy, I got horrible stretch marks on my thighs and calves. Any recs for a cream that can make them better?
TIA!
Re: Stretch Mark Cream Recs?
I have used Strivectin SD on older stretch marks, and I did see some improvement, but I read it works best on newer stretch marks. If you are BF however, check the ingredients first and that's with any cream. You can also try laser.
As far as time, it really depends on your skin type. My stretch marks are from 20 years ago when I was a teen, I have them all over my boobs and lower back and they are not going, I have tried variety of creams, oils and lotions, but nothing has worked. I wish I knew, what I know now, that using the creams and oils works best when your skin is getting stretched and trying to reverse it is a lot harder.
This. I was amazed by Strivectin on my belly. I would agree that there is no lotion or potion that will PREVENT stretchmarks, but I'm a believer in Strivectin for lessening the appearance of existing ones.
Did you see this convo from a few weeks ago?
sadly, nothing worked for me. They definitely faded over time though. I don't find them to be too bad anymore, though they're so there, from hip to hip all the way across
I tried StriVectin, but it turned my skin very red after just 2 times of using it. I tried again, same thing. It was almost like a sunburn from it, just FYI. They do sell samples, which is what I had bought thankfully. I want to say it was something like $7.95 for 2 weeks worth sample.
