Military Nesties
My
grandmother(who raised my brother and me) and I have been invited to
the 55th Oklahoma National Guard Banquet and Ball in 2 weeks (in honor
of my brother who was KIA in Afghanistan) and I have NO CLUE what to
wear??? Although my husband is military, I have never been to a
'military ball.' We are definitely going to the banquet but still not
sure if I will attend the actual ball part since my husband isn't going.
Can y'all give me some insight on what I could wear to something like
this? Long or short? Thanks so much!

Re: need help finding a dress
I went to my first military ball this past May. There were lots of different styles of dresses. I wore a long strapless red satin gown. It was really simple and pretty plain. I ended up wearing the shawl the entire time as I liked how it tied in with the dress. I think there were more long style dresses than short.
