Need help picking paint color!

Hey guys!  We are moving into our new home in a month and I just bought a new bedspread set. The colors of the bedspread are black, grey and ivory.  See link below.  I cannot decide what color I want to paint our room. I was thinking a shade of grey but I am not sure.  I would love to be a little bold and do some other color that may not necessarily be incorporated in the bedspread OR I was thinking of painting the room a shade of grey and having a fun accent wall.  Thoughts or suggestions?!  It would be much appreciated!

I think you could pretty much pick any color you want. The bedspread is super neutral and would go with many, many colors. I do love grays right now, but would consider a gray-blue or gray-green color, but a heavier focus on the blue or green.

I would try to steer clear of trying to match that exact bedspread. You want to pick a color that can go with a lot of things or other items in the room because eventually you will get sick of the bedset and trust me after painting once you wont want to do it again in a few years. I didn't look at the bedspread but I think gray would look really nice. I recently used a gray color called gentle rain by BEHR at home depot. It is the perfect gray I love it. A bold accent color that pops into my head that would compliment black, grey and ivory would be a deep rich purple. I think it would really make a statement.

I know this feeling all to well! We're moving into a new apartment next weekend and picking out the rooms colors is always a challenge anytime you move. I would either go with a lighter grey or maybe accent with a purple or navy. I'm really loving the whole navy color, just make sure it is brighter and not too dark or your room will feel really small. Hope that helps and good luck!

Also, take a look at the post of the PIP Master Bedroom Redo a few posts up. That can give you an idea of how colorful walls can pop with a neutral bedspread, like the one you just bought.
