Nursery Input?

I would love some input on our nursery. If it's a girl I have an idea but if it's a boy I don't! Our room is a bright lavender. Not a girly lavender. Just bright. If it's a boy the bedding wlll be sort of a bright aqua or even bright blue.

Here's the quilt I would like to use (first of WDYT?)

There is also the option of the fox print here but I don't think it goes as well with our colours so my gut says "owl"

Now I just need to pick a bumper and sheets. Which do you like between these options? Option 1 is a little darker so I am not sure if it will go.

This?

Or this?

Re: Nursery Input?

  • Also if you think neither of the quilts will work with our lavender room let me know!

  • I love the quilt!

If I had to pick between the two options you gave I'd lean towards the second one, although my preference would probably be white given that the owl quilt seems "busy".  Just my thoughts though!

  • The owl quilt is cute and I vote for the #2 option

  • As a different option for your bumper, have you looked into the breathable kinds sold at Babies R Us? They come in a variety of colors and aren't climbing or breathing risks for infants in cribs.

We used them for DS and DD they stay tightly fit against the crib rails...no ties...nothing for a baby to get his/her head stuck under and they fold down if stood on.
