Did you see the glass walls?

Am I seeing things, or did they have a glass wall (presumably bullet-proof) near the stage?

DH truly believes he will be assassinated. I can not even fathom the amount of security he must have.?

i didn't. ?but when he walked up there i had this creepy feeling that he was going to be shot. ?no clue why. ?scary!

I saw them but I think they were to prevent glare for the cameras.

I'm pretty sure they were there for protection.  I was watching something on the history of secret service since Kennedy's assasination,  they were explaining that a lot of times, banners and such that are placed along the front of the podiums and stages are often disguising bullet proof glass.  I worry for his safety, there are a lot of crazy people out there who will not be happy about this.

I saw that show and I'm pretty sure that the walls were for protection. Sadly, there are a lot of unstable people out there and I think that Obama will have some of the toughest security measures that we've ever seen because of it.

We saw them too and my DH keeps saying the same thing about him being assasinated.  I hope thats not the case but I bet there will be attempts.  So sad.
