So...it looks like Nolan has thrush. I'm going to call the doctor tomorrow..but do I need to do anything? I've heard it often cleans up on it's own.
Any experiences?
ETA: I gave Nolan yogurt yesterday and it looks much better today. I'm still in the clear.
Next question: If I do happen to get it, what kind of doctor do I go to? Can the pedi give me a prescription? I don't actually have a primary care physician and the only doctor I really go to is my gyn. Do I call them?
Re: Thrush
We battled thrush for a good while. It's no fun at all! Claire had it initially, then I picked it up and we traded. Good times:P
I've heard of yogurt helping, so that's good it's working (Claire was too young to have yogurt when we went through it). We go to a family practice, so her pedi is my doctor as well and was able to call in my script (my ob-gyn told me to go through my PCP). You can certainly try your OB and see if they'll help you out, but if not, they should be able to guide you from there. Good luck!
