Cleaning older wood floors

We are in the process of redoing our guest room for DD.  We had most of the floor covered by a large area rug but the rug we purchased for her room is not as large so I want to deep clean the wood floor before putting the new rug down and furniture.  The floors were redone long before we ever moved in, we have lived here 9 years, so I am not sure how much coating is left but you can tell something is still on there.  What is a good floor cleaner for older floors?  We looked into having the floor redone but decided it was not worth the cost for one room and moving the rest of the furniture to do the other room was put on the too hard list with an infant and a toddler. We only plan on staying here two more years.  The floors are original, but have been redone I am just looking to freshen the floor up I know cleaning the floor won't make them look new. TIA.
