What do you pay for mani/pedi?

And where are you?

Also, anyone with acrylic or gel nails? If so, curious to know what you pay for a full set and fills? I was discussing with friends and prices (even in my area) were all over the place. Thanks.

When I was living in small town Wisconsin- I would get gel nails on my fingers and regular paint on my toes and it would come out to be about $60ish.

Here in big town New Mexico- gel sets plus regular toe paint is about $85 at certain places, hence.. I do my nails at home.

Typically $12 for a mani + $25 for a pedi is the average at your standard nail salon here around the Philly burbs. Gel nails are $18-20. The cheaper places go for $10 + $20, but they use generic base & top coats so your polish chips instantly. The nicer salons charge $18 for a mani + $45 for a pedi.

There are soooo many nail salons where I live. I don't understand how they can stay in business.

I live in Dallas area, the prices are different depending where you go, some shops are nicer, they offer you wine or soda, and try to upsell the pedis to spa pedis with hot stone massage and milk and honey, or citrus scrub, etc.

The regular Mani&Pedi will cost you $35, if you upgrade to the spa, the regular spa pedi itself would $35, plus $15 for the mani, and if you get suckered in the upgraded spa pedi, the pedicures are $55 to $65 depending on the treatment, plus $15 for the Mani.

I have never done fill, but the gel polish, such as gelish or shellac are $40, and $10 for removal.

I just paid $67 for a mani/pedi at a salon/spa in the metro-Detroit area.

You can spend less at nail place (around $35), but I prefer to go to a salon. I haven't done shellac, so I don't know about those prices.

In North NJ I pay $8 for a mani and $20 for a pedi. Most places other than a spa are a max of $35 for both. I think my place charges $30 for a gel manicure but I've never done it. Mine lasts about a week and a half so I don't see the need to pay that much more for the gel.

In So. Cal. I pay $25 for manicure and $45 for a pedicure. They also offer an express manicure for $18 (clean and polish only).

For a mani/pedi together, usually around $40, at an average neighborhood nail salon in the Vancouver metro area.

I live in a small area so mani and pedis run around 50 for both or 25 for mani and pedi is 30. Acrylics run around 35 as well as the gel polish. To get nails filled it's about 20

I'm in middle TN and a spa pedi is $25. A full acrylic set is $20 (if you go to the right place) and a fill in is $12.

Gel nails run about $40.
