Wednesday Randoms
Yeah - the week is half over with. Wohoo.
Has anyone else come down with a cold in the summer? Mike has and he is misreable.

Morning. I did have a cold a few weeks ago. Summer colds suck!
Hate to be a downer first thing in the morning but here is my random thoughts for the day. My mom called yesterday to tell me that the neighbor boy and son of her good friend was hit and killed by a train on Monday night. He was 18. Another sad part to the story - my mom's friend lost her mother last week. I am not an overly religous person but have always believed that God only gives you what you can handle, but things like this leave me questioning that. That is more than any one person could handle, the loss of your mother and youngest child in less than 2 weeks. The boy was a year younger than my brother. They played together since they were 5 or 6. They never were very close because the boy has always been very "spacey" and never really learned to connect socially. But my brother always tried to include him or spend time with him even when the other kids tried to avoid playing with him. He hadn't graduated HS this past spring but was taking summer classes trying to graduate. He had fallen in with a bad crowd and was using drugs but was trying to pull away from that. I'm sure they will never know fully what happened or why, and that's almost the worst part - no full closure. Just so sad and my heart breaks for them. I hadn't seen him in probably 5 or more years but I guess I will remember him as a little kid and his goofy awkardness that just made him who he was.
Ok, thanks for letting me get that off my chest and put my thoughts into words.
All that is some much for one person to handle. I hope that it gets better and that your brother deals ok with this. *hugs*

Summer cold suck.
So humid right now. Sitting in the office and I feel icky because it is so humid in here and outside. We are able to get by as long as you have a fan right on you.
I think yesterday was the first time in weeks that I actually ate 3 meals.
I was going to run errands with my Mom this AM, but DH changed his mind and wanted me at the office instead. Sadly one of those errands was picking things up for dinner... which was going to be made in the crock pot. I'm rethinking dinner plans.
That's rough HM. :-( I'm sorry.
I hope to get to the gym this afternoon. Not sure what we're having for dinner. Sloppy joes maybe?
Last Saturday I woke up freaking out that it was Friday and that I was late for work. I know how you feel WOP.

I had that yesterday. I cleaned like a crazy person yesterday when I got home from work. I had every intention of going to the gym, but I just couldn't stand the mess any longer.
How is the pregnancy going? I see you post on the baby name board here and there. Anything jump out at you as possibilities? I'm a giant name nerd.

Its nice to see rain today- even tho im posting a day late.
I'm just getting over a kidney infection. Tons of pain and sick. I did loose 10 pounds in less than a week. although its not a good thing to do that, but it did jumpstart my diet
