My MIL wants to get me a
bread maker, which is very sweet, but I've never baked bread before and I'm too embarrassed to tell her. Please help! Is this a good brand or is there something better that you'd recommend? Is it easy to use. Do I just throw a mix at it or does it actually make good bread from 'scratch'? Thanks.
Re: For the Dough...
We make all of our own bread, a loaf every other day (we're huge carboholics in this house!). LOVE our Zojirushi bread machine. Very easy to use, either with a mix or a recipe and there'll probably be a basic recipe book in the box with the user's manual and machine. We think it makes great bread, better than store bought plus we know exactly what we're eating which is why we bother.
Plus, there's nothing like setting it at bedtime and waking up to a hot, fresh loaf of bread for breakfast!
