All this baby/nursery talk is making me want one!  We are planning on waiting about 4 years, so we have time to travel and make a dent in my student loans. I know we're not ready yet anyway, having a cat is about all we can handle right now lol.  Does anyone else plan to wait but have periods where they just REALLY want one?

I'm so glad we get to be here for your progress Chelsea - its so exciting!

You can live vicariously through me until you guys are ready We will probably have at least 3 kids by then and 1 on the way!

Chelsea do you know how you're doing the nursery? Have you gone public to non family yet?

I have zero plans for the nursery as of right now. I have Carters changing table and rocking chair that I plan to use again, but everything else will have to be new. I am working on talking DH into painting the room before we do much.

We are telling my brother tonight... then all of our immediate families will know. THen we will slowly tell others that we are really close to. We wont make the official announcement to the world via FB until next month... probably after the anatomy scan.

Dumb question, what's the anatomy scan?

 

I feel like when I get pregnant I'm gonna ask you a million questions haha 

Oops sorry.. its the ultrasound they do between 18 and 22 weeks to check out the baby... its normally when people find out gender if they want to.

I'd love to answer any and all questions you have now or will have in teh future regarding pregnancy

I think my biggest questions now are what your body's like post baby and breastfeeding. I've read some eye opening blog posts about that stuff but still curious. What sex are you hoping for? 

After having Carter and BFing... my metabolism was AMAZING.... I am hoping that sticks around! Post baby body.... I didnt have any issues... but it just depends on teh person. I dont have any stretch marks or anything. I had a six pack from Insanity this spring... so anything is possible!

I am think its a girl.... but I am just hoping for a healthy baby. We plan to have several more, so it really doesnt matter if its a boy or a girl.

I've heard that about metabolism and breastfeeding...yet another benefit! 

The benefits are amazing!
