Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

When did local boards become invite exclusive?
Just asking although I've been a member of the original Knot/Nest since 2004. I don't come here often except when I really need to ask for information that I can't seem to find through my other channels?

This board isn't invite only. Anyone is welcome to post. But no one seems to want to post here lately.
A bunch of people who used to post here started a separate board when the Nest jacked up the format the last time. Since it is self-moderated, the ladies don't want anyone and their mother lurking without ever posting. You are welcome to sign up - just post here that you did and someone should accept you to the group. Just know that there is an expectation that all members will have to post regularly (at least every few months).
