Scars

I recently had a breast reduction and was wondering if anyone has used any over the counter scar creams? If so what would you suggest? I know that I'll always have I'd just like to lighten them. I'm willing to try anything...

 Thanks!

Re: Scars

  • Mederma has been known to help.  I have a friend who used it on an old surgery scar and it faded a lot.  Do not get a generic though.  It does not do nearly as well.

  • Mederma was what was recommend to me by my podiatrist after both of my foot surgeries.  I think it helped, but I was way too lazy to apply it as directed or even buy more than the sample packs I was given.
