XP: What your best idea for a kid's closet?

We are closing on our house today! It's an old schoolhouse that was remodeled into a B&B within the last 20 years. No plans to run a B&B out of there yet, but it will be a cool place for our kids to grow up!

The 2 bedrooms that we are going to use for the kids both have what would have been separate "child rooms" from when they were guest rooms. So we are going to turn these into walk-in closets for the kids. They are 10x7, so very good size, and I want to make them as practical as possible. So, besides a hanger bar and shelves, what's the coolest thing you've seen in a closet that you wish you had? (Or maybe you do have it!) I have a boy and a girl, so they can be different.

Thanks!
