Help me with shoes

It is very difficult for me to find shoes to work out in.  I do a very intense kickboxing class and just started doing Insanity.  The jumping and lateral movements in the Insanity workout made my feet hurt so bad that I had to stop (particularly in my arches).  I'm assuming its a lack of support in my shoes.  I currently have brand new Nike Lunarflys.

What shoes do you use for cross-training type of activities?  I need some suggestions on what to try out.

Re: Help me with shoes

  • I am a runner that started taking group classes for some cross training, but I wear old running shoes to those classes. I went to a running store and got fitted for a pair that fit my feet and stride the best. I have had a lot of luck wearing those to group classes (boot camp, boxing, spin, etc).

  • I second going into a store!  The people are amazing and it's really the only way.  Every person's feet and stride are so different.

    Good luck!
