  • That H hasn't lost his wedding band yet.......

Aside from that, everything is pretty much the same so far :)

  • This isnt directly marriage related... but kinda... we kind of thought once we got through the move and the wedding that everything would slow down just a bit for us... but it hasnt and there is no end in sight!

  • how we go to bed at different times (he stays up really late watching TV, playing a game of baseball, etc). Its hard to get used too

  • When we see my parents- they let us sleep in the same bed- it's not a surprise but it's something to get used too.

Oh mine did... it's been in the Atlantic Ocean since day 2 of the honeymoon.  His new one came in Wednesday though so he is finally looking like a married man :)  We read later that salt water makes your fingers shrink - a word of advice to everyone else, take them off before going in the ocean!!

Otherwise I haven't really had a surprise, we were living together before.  I guess I'm surprised that it makes me feel older for some reason, and I'm surprised that I'm liking it when he calls me "wifey" or something wife-related.  The word "wife"  makes me think of middle aged women in aprons for some reason, so I wasn't really feeling it before.  It's growing on me!

  • No real surprises here.. just been business as usual for us!!!
  • It has surprised me that H is sad the wedding is over. I am so glad it's all done but he seems to miss it. Weirdo.

  • I don't really feel any differently now that I'm married.  It seems though that other people view our relationship differently.  It's as if now that we have this piece of paper that says we're married, that we're more committed or more "in it for the long run".  I'm sorry but we've been together for 7 years, I've been committed and in it for the long run for many years already.
    Anniversary
  • I think sometimes the biggest surprise for me is that we're married.  I'll be doing something and think, hey we're married!  It's a very pleasing surprise.
  • I think the biggest surprise is just the feeling of being married. It just feels different to me that we're married and share a last name. It's pretty cool to have a husband and be married. :-)

  • Just getting to do what I want when I want has been the biggest surprise I guess. As far as behaviors from him, this is so stereotypical but the man literally leaves his boxers in the bathroom every single day. I asked him the other day if he knew it was me that put his boxers in the hamper every day and he said "Sorry". He's been better since then.

And that's all it really was to me too, just funny. I never made a big deal out of it before so my guess is he was like "I don't remember putting my boxers in the hamper this morning..." and all confused. :)

I didn't know it would take so long to really feel married--sometimes I forget that I have a husband at home waiting for me. Like PP said, it is a happy surprise. :)
