Do you have any fun plans for the second half of summer? School (and work) start back up for me in 4 weeks.
Re: Summers half over...
I am bummed summer is over half over. I love summer. I have always loved it, even when I was a kid. I also go back to work in four weeks. DH and I are going on our annual lake vacation for a half a week and we are going to Mexico (Playa Del Carmen) for five days!!! The last week before I go back I will be at work unpacking my room and getting it ready for the year. I also have a meeting for work that week. Let's enjoy these last weeks! :-)

No vacations planned here, but we're working on renovating the house. Hoping to put in the laminate floors and finish the bathroom tile over the next couple of weeks (progress in the bathroom stalled as we had to wait for the new door to come in on special order).
Still applying for jobs, but so far have a maternity leave position at my favorite school with the awesome coworkers I taught with this past year. So I'll be employed to at least November. Fingers are crossed though for a full time position.

I almost miss being a teacher....ALMOST......
Busy season ends today for our office (i.e.freshman & transfer orientation sessions are over!!!) we get a small reprieve before classes start up late August.
Our plans consist of finishing unpacking/moving, getting DD to sleep in her own bed in her own room, and continuing TTC. Oh, and band camp starts Aug 13 and runs for 3 weeks. At least I get paid for camp, right?
We are heading to the outer banks for a week with family on Aug. 3rd so I am really excited about that. My sister is also moving in with us for a few months and should be moved in by the time we leave for vacation so that should be interesting. It should be fun to have the company during the day and help with the baby.
Other than that nothing really planned. DH is going river rafting and white water rafting one weekend in August and one weekend in September. I might join him for one night river rafting if I can find someone to watch the baby overnight.
It's hard to believe summer is half over. I'm kind of ready for some cooler weather this summer has been brutal.
