Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

so what's the 9 to 5 board all about?? (intro & just got a new job!!!)

What's this board all about? I don't really have a specific board that I check regularly (other than the baby names board, which is funny because I'm not currently pregnant). However, I DID just get a job offer!
It's been an uphill battle (job-wise) for DH and I, but he started a sales/marketing job in the wine industry (he's worked in the wine industry for about 3 years but hasn't been able to get out of retail thus far, even with a B.A. and M.B.A. classes) last Monday and I got offered a job (I'm a journalist) today, so it looks like we're FINALLY both going to have normal, 9 to 5 (mostly) jobs! This is very exciting for us..
So yeah - I GOT A JOB!!!

Hello! Congratulations on the job!
People come on and vent about work and ask questions (resumes, letters, contracts, promotions, work situations, etc) mainly. The board can be as active as we make it or what we want to make it. The nest is still pretty slow in general but it's starting to pick up again.
