LOTS of painting to be done

Moving into a new place is exiting but now I must realize that every surface needs some attention in one way or the other. My question is; do I paint the walls darker or the built-ins darker????

Re: LOTS of painting to be done

  • depends on what colors and probably the way you want the room to look in the end/what type of room is it...etc. . Our walls are lighter then our built-ins and I think it would look funny if the walls were darker then the the built-ins we have. Post a picture of the room/built-ins. and what color/feel you are going for!
  • I'm always a fan of white built-ins.
  • We did end up deciding to do the built-ins lighter than the walls due to how many built-ins there are... Plus the trim of the house will be the same color and the doors :) Its not white but like a soft cream... Its pretty!!! I will post pics when we are done!!!
