speaking of chairs...where to find padding and one other ?
Hi ladies,
I picked up a bunch of chairs to go with this custom dining room table my H & I are getting for our new home. (table comes with benches, but we wanted chairs instead)
Anyway - where would I find padding for the chairs? I am planning on reupholstering the chairs and they def will need new padding. Is this something that I can pick up at Michaels or somewhere like that? I'm in NY - we are moving to Long Island so we have Michaels, Walmart, Target, etc....so any store will do really.
Also, I already have the fabric picked out, which I want to order this week....I did measurements of the chairs, but not sure how much fabric to order. Maybe one of you guys know something about this?
The dimensions are 22.15 x 23.35
Any help would be appreciated

Is it just slip seats that you need to cover? If so, how many chairs and what is the pattern repeat of the fabric-- or is it solid? How wide is the fabric? How many pattern repeats across the width of the fabric?
Joann's and other fabric stores should have the padding.

The seats are slip seats...
I forgot to add that there's 8 chairs in total.....the fabric is 54 inches wide, so I would need 4 yards? If I order it, I will order an extra 2 yards just in case....
