We have two trees in our yard that started growing on their own about 3 years ago. I was taking a closer look at them recently because I was trying to figure out what kind of tree it is and I noticed all these little balls on pretty much every leaf. Some leaves have only a few and some are completely covered. Has anyone seen this before and do you know what it is?

Re: Help with tree (PIP)
This looks like a Celtis occidentalis (Hackberry) with Hackberry Nipple Gall. Caused by a tiny insect.
I hardly ever see a Hackberry tree without this gall. It doesn't seem to really hurt the trees.
