Food ideas for a house boat?

We are going for the first time this weekend and I don't know what to take. They have everything to cook there. The only thing on my list so far is chicken salad sandwich and cut up fruit and steaks one night.

Re: Food ideas for a house boat?

  • Think of each meal and what you normally would eat and ask if that can be done simply there. Also think of how you can maybe reuse leftovers so to minimize how much you bring.
  • I like to make tacos when I travel. It's cheap, versatile (everyone can put on what they want), and I make enough so there are leftovers for other things, such as ranchos haveros, quesedillas, salads, etc.
