Update on fostering my nephews

Good afternoon everyone, I wanted to thank you all for all the nestie juju and support during these stressful but wonderful 9 months. My dh and I are officially licensed foster parents as of the end of May. So in June the state started paying which has helped a ton with daycare. Now they are set for a permant return home date set for 8/12. I am excited to get our family life back but am and always will worry about the wonderful little boys that have changed our lives for the best. When they came Wyatt was 2.5 and at a 11-14 month mental and physical level Joseph was 6 months and at a newborn stage. Today Wyatt is 3 and is at a 24-26 month level, I am so proud in the way he has grown and he is so happy and loving. Joseph is now 15 months and is only behind a month or two. Also a great little boy. Unfortunatly as we are transitioning home the boys therapists, my case worker and I think they are rushing and the parents are already having a hard time keeping up with therapies and the boys. Its now up to the state and god to watch over them and ensure they are well. My kids have also learned and grown so much by doing this;Please continue the t/p/j for my nephews and our family. We plan and hope to help another child in need of a good foster home in the future,

I am glad to hear they are doing so well. Hopefully, their parents can continue that and improve their lives for the future.

Glad to hear they are doing well!  I hope the transition goes well and the parents make the effort needed to be good parents to them.  Lots of tpj for them and good on you for helping them move forward in such a difficult time.

Oh wow - I really hope the parents can keep them on track with their growth. It sounds like being with your family has been amazing for them!
