Mid Week Open Letters
Dear Lawyers,
It is not my fault your office is a mess.. therefor not my fault you can't find the file you're looking for when it's probably in that disaster you call an office. There are only so many hours in my work day, and when I spend half of them looking for stuff that you lost.. it really cuts down on my ability to be productive...

I'm am sorry that you don't want to go to school today, but state law says you must. I am also sorry that you are being a total psycho b/c of the full moon, but you are 9 and I'm the adult and the nurse, this is not a democracy. You do not get to sink your teeth into me and use the f word and then get all shocked when you get a time out.

Good to write to you again. Actually, no good. I shouldn't have to keep writing to you. Other people want letters, too, but good gravy, you keep doing things that demand a damn letter!
If my sister says she doesn't like softball, doesn't want to play anymore, and ihe instead wants to take trombone seriously, especially when she has made it into one of the best youth symphonies in the world as a 15year old, DON'T MAKE HER PLAY SOFTBALL!! Why would you say "I want you to play high school softball next year, even if you are benched the entire season" when she HATES IT and has the amazing and RARE opportunity to really shine in this band?! Let her make her own damn decisions!
