Ear pain and tinnitus when exercising?
Anyone else get ear pain and tinnitus after exercising? I just started a routine about a week ago. I haven't ever noticed the ear pain before after exercising, just today. It may have been a fluke, but I wanted to ask regardless. I noticed my ears felt like they were getting hot right before the ear pain started. I'm just doing a little cardio, working on my legs and butt doing squats etc., and using an 8 lb. dumbbell to build up my arms.
I have NEVER had high blood pressure...it's actually always been on the low side. I checked it right after working out and it was 90/60. I weigh 98 lbs. and I'm in decent shape physically. I do have TMJ, but it's never been in both ears and it doesn't even feel like the usual TMJ pain I get.
Any thought on this would be much appreciated.?
Re: Ear pain and tinnitus when exercising?
This problem is related to my TMJ. I have to make sure I'm not clenching my jaw or and relaxing my shoulders. Also, press your tongue into the back of your top teeth when you notice tightness or pain starting...it helps get things back to where they should be and helps you relax.
I also just started having bunion pain...believe it or not, this misalignment reverberates all the way up to your head. So keep that in mind. It could be any misalignment in your body. I've been recommended orthotics to help with this, and going to the chiropractor for TMJ helps. She also works on my back and hips and feet, which feels good too.
