So tonight H and I decided to go out to dinner. We had a gift card to my favorite place and honestly I forgot to take something out for dinner. So after dinner we thought we would run by Barnes and Noble and search around. On our way we took a short cut through a not so nice part of town (middle of the city) and we see a horse!! Well then while at the red light the horse got loose and starts running down the street. The guy is chasing him and gives up because he CAN NOT catch the horse obviously. H tells him to hop in the bed of the truck so we catch up to the horse and H got the horse to the side of the road safely with his truck and the guy hopped out and got the horse.
Just a regular night after dinner no big deal. But really a HORSE in the middle of the city! The closest "farm" or any where to keep a horse is a good 30+ miles away. H and I enjoyed the laugh and helping the guy but I just had to share with you ladies.
Re: Horsing Around!
That's awesome. One of our favorite happy hour spots is pretty close to work... It's in a little commercial area, surrounded by the suburbs... but somehow, there's this guy who shows up on his horse at least once a week. It's hilarious. He rides up, ties his horse to the patio divider, and then comes in for a drink or two. Then hops back on his horse and heads home. No one knows where he keeps this horse when he's not riding it, because there just isn't anywhere close where he could keep it!
So strange.
