Hope everyone is doing well! I feel like it's been forever since I've been on The Nest.
So, one of DD's teeth grew in without enamel. It's discolored and "soft" as the dentist put it. It grew completely out, but it did brake off a bit so now there is a little bit of it sticking out above the gum line. It's not infected yet and it doesn't have a cavity but he said it does need to be removed. ugh!
That being said, has anyone's toddler have a tooth extracted? I'm super nervous of course. I talked with the oral surgeon and she said they won't sedate her, but they might give her the "silly gas" if they think she'll need it.
Anyone have a similiar experience?
TIA
Re: 20 month old tooth extraction :o(
My nephew's baby teeth (all of them) didn't have enamel. So, they had to bond all of them. They had to knock him out because it was all of his teeth.
About 6 months after, he said to my brother, "hey daddy, guess what? My teeth don't hurt anymore."
So, it does happen.
