Sick Hubs at home for the 5th day now, I'm looking for something quick because chances are I'll be cleaning up around him and I know he finished all the soup in the house.
Suggestions for chicken tenders?
I defrosted them because it's supposed to be hubs night to cook Chicken Tacos, but since Tacos are really his thing...I don't want to step on his ONE culinary delight
Re: what's for dinner?
we're having: tri colored stuffed pepper rings with mashed potatoes. yum.
as for the chicken tenders- if they're breaded & such then i'd cook them & throw them on top of a salad with some feta, egg & tortilla strips.
otherwise...make some quick mac & cheese & eat them with that.

We're having homemade chicken soup with rice.
I agree w/ TBird, if they are breaded, I'd throw them on a salad. if they are just tenderloins, maybe grill them or broil them and make a wrap or sandwich with them.
I ended up cooking them up in a pan (not breaded) and simmering them in some gravy I had and then serving them over some egg noodles.
I'm trying to get rid of some odds and ends in my pantry & freezer this week. ?While I use the grocery budget to stock up on sale/coupon items.?
