Baltimore Restaurant Week
Where did you go, what did you eat, what did you think?
Re: Baltimore Restaurant Week
We ate at Chazz. It was good. We went for RW so we stuck with that menu, but I don't think it was the best value. I think it would have been more fun to try different things off their regular menu (so a cheese board, a pizza, a salad, an entree) and it probably would have been cheaper.
My husband and I ordered differently and split everythinge equally.
So we had:
A salad: Very good, good size, good dressing but I think too much dressing.
Bruschetta: small, worthless, literally 2 pieces of bread that were flat crostini's about 2 inches long.
Flat Iron Steak: VERY GOOD, the pesto and fingerling potatos accompaning it, not so much.
Pasta: Just okay
Desserts: We had ice cream with espresso poured over it and a cannoli, both okay.
Service: Just okay, felt like we were being punished for being late for our reservation and as we waited in the bar, I felt bullied into buying a drink.
So all in all, I wish I had gone to Chazz another time and went some where else for restaurant week.
