I do have to say

that I was more upset when Clinton won than I am now (although I blame the fact that I thought the world was going to end on my mother). ?

I'm cautiously?optimistic?that we will see a balanced budget. ??

Re: I do have to say

  • Sorry I don't see a balanced budget anytime soon especially if Obama wants to implement even just a few of his key issues.

  • It won't be so scary!  I really think that he's not going to be as liberal as people think.  I mean, he'll still be liberal, but I think only moderately so.  I don't think he wants to be a one-termer, so I think he's going to keep Pelosi and Co in line.

I agree.  I think he is liberal, but he's even more intelligent than he is liberal.  He wouldn't do anything to cripple the economy.

  • absolutely - balanced budgets are Dems' specialty!

Ditto both of you, 100 percent.

My thinking is this: Obama is not an idiot. ?There is already a $700B projected deficit for next year. ?If anyone can cut back on spending and not have people hate him for it, it's him. ?I can hope.
