B hit another milestone yesterday

And boy did he ever "hit" it. He's 2 (last month) and he fell down our steep, hardwood stairs onto the hardwood landing, I saw his head hit one of the stairs. He cried immediately and I wasn't going to take him to the ER once I saw that everything worked, no visable signs of trauma, I was going to monitor him for an hour (we're 5 blocks from the hospital), after a few minutes of snuggles we went to the table for snack. He started counting his baby dolls fingers and toes and I was in the process of emailing the event to DH, just then Brooks touches his head and says "Brooks broke head". Scooped him up, packed the diaper bag and off the ER we went. He was fine, but Geez, talk about some heart failure for me.

First ER trip marked off the list.

  • Aww, poor buddy!  I bet it was scary but good to hear he's ok.

  • Did you got to Pville or Paoli?  I've taken the mister to Pville ER three times now.  It's mostly for minor stuff--stepping on a nail, sprained ankle, tendonitis.  Hope you were in and out quickly.
  • Yikes!  Glad everything is okay!

We went to Bryn Mawr since he seemed fine, but just in case there was something major I wanted him to be at a place that had a pediatric ER.
