My son is almost two months old (where did the time go???) and I am finally getting into enough of a routine that I feel like I can get back to the sewing machine and make him some stuff. Only problem is that there are not a lot of patterns for boys! I don't want to make him newborn sleep sacks and stuff because we got a ton of them at my shower. I'm looking for cute accessories (hats, ties, etc) and maybe a coat. I would also like to make him some things for next spring/summer because I think it will be too hard to make him things for the winter and we have a TON of clothing that was given to us for that time period.
SO... my question is: any suggestions for where to find boy patterns? I've looked at all the typical sites O&S, Simplicity, Butterick, McCalls, etc. I did get an awesome McCalls pattern - http://mccallpattern.mccall.com/m6575-products-22766.php?page_id=489 - (sorry I can't make it a clicky on my new mac ... not sure how this thing works yet!) and cannot wait to make the hats but then I'm at a loss.
Thanks!!!
Re: sewing patterns for boys
Are you on Pinterest? Here's one of my boards that I have for Baby & Childrens patterns & tutorials. There's boy and girl stuff on there. You can also find a ton of free stuff on the internet just by doing a search. Have fun!
