New here

Hello, I'm fairly new to the nest. I've lurked on this board but haven't really posted before. I am a newlywed in my late twenties. My H and I are in the process of buying our first home. I am a bit overweight and have decided to lose the extra pounds for good this time. I like to run, but just found out (about 20 minutes ago) that my BIL who lives with us broke my treadmill and decided not to tell me! Nice, huh? Anyway, I'm excited to get started on this journey :)

Re: New here

  • The treadmill is nice if you are in an area where the climate might not allow you to run outside all of the time but try outside for running.  It is nice because I know that the farther I run I have to run the same distance back it really helps me not to quit. You can do it, I started running a few years ago and it has been really rewarding going distances I never thought I could and getting friends and other people involved as well.. I was recently just chosen to be part of Team Wheaties which is so exciting, you never know where it will take you!!
