Schenley park... where to park, what to do?

I have some time to kill this afternoon before a 6:30 meeting in Squirrel Hill, so I was thinking of taking the kids to Schenley park.  Is Bartlett playground where I should head?  Is there parking there?

Bartlett is a small playground.  You park along the street in front.  I would recommend Frick Park-the huge playground up near the dog park instead in the heart of Squirrel Hill- Forbes Avenue.   It is much larger and has a toddler town area.

I'd suggest the blue slide park psych gal is talking about or Anderson playground in Schenley.

I would go to Anderson playground. It's a nice, playground with a variety of equipment and we've never had trouble parking on the road next to it. The playground is between Phipps (sort of behind it) and Boulevard of the Allies.

 

That's the only Schenley Park playground we've gone to. We've also gone to the blue slide playground in Frick Park, but because of the different levels, I find it to be annoying for one parent and two kids.

Thanks!  We ended up at Anderson Park and it was perfect for killing an hour.
