Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Good places to stay in SF?
My mom decided this year that she wants to do Christmas in San Fran, I guess for a little change of scenery or what not. Does anyone know of any good hotels to stay at? Fun things to do? It would be Christmas night and then the whole weekend. Thanks!

The Mosser is a GREAT hotel, and the rates we find very resonable. We always stay there. It is on 4th Ave less than 1 block from the Cable Car turn around.
The Marriot is right across the street, and that is another favorite, the hotel is amazing, w/ great customer service. Also VERY close to everything.
We have also stayed once at Hotel Diva. A very nice hotel, the neighborhood is a bit quiter, but still close to everything. They have a chain of very nice hotels, ALL w/ a differan style. I would look into those as well.
:-) I guess we don't always stay at The Mosser, but it is a favorite.
