Keywest - Restaurant, things to do. need recs.

We are thinking about taking a day trip to Key west at the beginning of Sept. any must do things, recommend two good restaurants please! Thanks!

You can sometimes catch deals for food if you eat after lunch/before dinner time. We at at the top of Duvall St at a really nice restaurant where it was BOGO for dinner. We then snacked much later on an app down the street.
My favorite bar was The Porch. It only served wine and beer and was just so quaint to be able to sit on a front porch, patio swing, etc and enjoy the evening.
We stayed at the Key Lime Inn - super cute and at the top of Duvall and over a block or so. It was much better than the Travellodge we stumbled upon when we first got there!
