My husband and I are coming up on our 3 year anniversary. He recently shattered his wedding band that we were married with. We knew it was a possibility as it was made from tungsten but with his work, it was safer than a metal that will bend. I currently have the pieces and want to preserve them in a shadow box or engraved something because it is what we were married with. I just have no idea where to find the products or services to have that done!
Any ideas? It is multiple pieces and would love to have something where we can show that "metal may bend and break, but our love is strong".
Thanks for any help or ideas you can provide.
Re: Help with preservation of ring
Do you have a "Things Remembered" store? they do a lot of engraving and could probably help you find the perfect solution. Also, do you want to keep the pieces as a "broken ring" or could you turn them into some type of craft project? maybe you could make some sort of mosaic frame and put the broken pieces in a ring shape seperate from the rest of the mosaic pieces and put a picture from your wedding with his ring showing in the picture? Hope this helps. I will keep thinking.
