We are moving into our new place this month and just purchased a new dining room table but we need to find chairs to go with it that are kid and cat friendly but still look nice and are comfortable (am I asking too much?) :-)
Our main room is an open concept living, dining, and kitchen and I want to try to tie the spaces together. We have tan walls and a light brown couch, cream rug, dark brown kitchen cabinets with Caesarstone Baja countertops (a sandy tan color) and a stone backsplash. Our floors are a rustic medium wood with dark tones mixed in. Our furniture is fairly contemporary. I really like modern and my husband likes rustic so we are trying to combine both in the space. This table was a great find that met what we both wanted but now I need help finding chairs that won't be too busy with the space. I was thinking white or ivory since we have a lot of dark colors going on but I'm open to any ideas. I really need help! I would love PIP or links if you can!
Sorry the picture isn't flipped - does anyone know how to rotate images on tinypic - the option seems to have vanished.
EDIT: That is not a pic of our place or chairs - that is a pic from the furniture store.
Re: Help me pick dining chairs!
I think something ivory or camel colored would look nice
ps- you daughter is so cute!! Love the hula outfit!
My girlfriend has a table like this, and for one side she uses a long bench in place of chairs. It allows her to squeeze in an extra person or two as needed.
What kind of budget are you working with?
