Ordering Pictures

Where do you all order pictures from? Snapfish, mpix, walgreens, etc?

We got DD's 1 year pictures taken with Jen Lowe and MIL gave us some money to get her copies of a few pics. I have exactly three weeks to either other them online or go somewhere and get them printed. I'm not that worried about high quality, just need something quick and easy.

Re: Ordering Pictures

  • I always use Walgreens and have never had any problems. If you order from there, check for coupon codes first because they always have some.

  • I always use Snapfish and I always find coupon codes online. I had to use Shutterfly recently to order some pics someone else had taken for a scrapbook and they took forever to arrive.
  • I usually do them through CVS or Target then go pick them up in the store. takes no time at all.

  • I always order from Shutterfly. If I need them immediately, I chose the option to pick up from Walgreens. But they only do glossy prints and I prefer matte so I usually just get them in the mail. Takes a week or so.

    Decorate This
  • I upload my photos to shutterfly and order the pictures online. I usually get them within 5 to 7 days.

  • If I want something quickly, I upload via Shutterfly to pick up at Target.

  • You can upload them to snapfish and then pick them up from Walgreens. When I order them from snapfish, they don't take too long.

  • I've used both Shutterfly and MPix.  MPix is much better quality the paper is really great my photographer friend orders from there as well, but the MPix site deletes albums if you don't order every 6 months so I actually store photos to Shutterfly and then order prints from MPix.

  • I'm too lazy to pick up pictures, so I just order from Shutterfly. Because I do order from there a lot, I end up getting plenty of discount codes.

  • I ordered some recently from Shutterfly ("some" = 100) for DS's scrapbook and I was not pleased with the quality....a little too saturated or something?  I had gotten a dozen printed at Target (and you can also order from Shutterfly and pick up at Target) and the quality was MUCH better, but it could have been a fluke in our order. Everything else we've ordered from shutterfly has been fine.

  • I use York.  I think they are a MD based company, so the pics usually arrive prety quickly.  Plus, they always have sales.
