So yes this is an AE before anyone asks... I'm really embarrassed and didn't want to post this with my other SN. Oh an yes, I'm an idiot.

Today, DH essentially begged for oral for about 15 mins until I finally caved. I wasn't in the mood to, but he clearly was. Then we had sex. About two mins after we were done I sat down and (not sure exactly what I said) was like "oh ***, I have a cold sore". DH sat there stunned and then flipped out...calling me a few choice words and letting me know that I better hope nothing happens (even though since we also had sex, I would be at risk, too).

I am just wondering if anyone knows much about this. Should I have done it? Nope! Its at that point where it isn't red anymore and hasn't hurt (least not til I started touching it after all this happened). It's in the corner where my top and bottom lips meet so I completely forgot it was there and it was an honest mistake... what is DH's risk of contracting it that way? We both quickly took showers afterwards but I doubt that would help.  Do we now just wait or is there anything I can do to treat something this early? To anyone who has knowledge of this TIA

Does your H regularly call you choice words when upset? That would be the bigger issue to me. Clearly it was no ones fault/both your faults that neither of you noticed the cold sore. Choice words show his lack of respect for you.
