S. Maine pedi rec?

We're currently going to FP at Primecare in Kbunk and I'm really fed up with the rushed appts for my son, I never get a chance to ask questions and always feel like we're under the gun the moment she walks through the door (which was 1.5 hrs after we arrived last time). Anyone have any recs for peds in the Kbunk, Biddeford area?  I'm interested in Intermed in Portland as well... I saw a doctor at the marginal way office after my own issues w/ Primecare ob and really liked their facility but I'm not familiar with any of their physicians outside of OB.  Thanks!

Hi!  A lot of us Nesties have gone and vanished to a FB group, but there are couple of us that pop in here occasionally!

We go to Dr. Foster at Intermed for our 3 year old son. The appts usually alternate between the doc and a nurse practioner, but we've been happy with everyone we've seen. The appts sometimes feel a little rushed, but if we have questions, they are always good about answering them and being patient with me. And all the staff's bedside manner is great.

I'd recommend them!

We see Dr. Farrand at the Medical Group in Kennebunk. He is awesome. You want an early morning appointment though otherwise he runs late (he has appointments going till 7pm though!) Besides having him see all of us I have also shadowed him as a med student so I know he gives the same level of care across the board. He runs late because he wont leave an appointment until all questions are answered. He will even sit there for a few minutes writing things up to give you a moment to think and see if you have anything else to ask. He also gives his personal cell out if you have questions and he will call you back at night or on the weekends quickly. He is just the best and we love him and he has come through for us on a lot of occasions.
