Dry shampoo for cat?

One of my cats is quite large and has a difficult time cleaning all his various parts thoroughly.  I don't dare put him in a bath.  Do any of you use dry shampoo on your cat?  Do you have any recommendations?  TIA!

Re: Dry shampoo for cat?

  • Hey Botanical!  NK was very large and toward the end of his life wasn't great about his hygiene.  We used dry shampoo, well just a spray, wiped with a towel and then brushed.  It smelled so good.  It was also great to use after all those frequent vet trips.

Hey!  Hmmm, I've seen a couple of sprays, but I'm afraid it would scare him since we use a spray bottle as punishment.  I also saw some wipes... I'll see what the pet store has next time I go.  Thanks!

This may freak him out-- Eastwood cannot be around anything that makes a spray noise without freaking out. I got these cat wipes (kind of like baby wipes) at petco, that might be a little easier to deal with than a spray or powder.

    GL!
