Newly Active here .... and Wedding Scrapbook
Hello fellow Nesties,
I am not really new to The Nest, but I haven't exactly been very active on these boards. I got married on June 16th and I have started scrapbooking our wedding pictures this past weekend. I just wanted to share my plans so far because I am really super excited about it.
I bought a vintage looking scrapbook at Walmart for $10 and have stickers and accessories that I purchased in the past, but that is all I am buying to complete it. I saved all of the wrapping paper, tissue paper, and gift bags (along with a couple envelopes from cards) from my bridal shower and wedding gifts. My goal is to cut 12x12 pages out of the bags and let those act as the pages/backgrounds. I am planning to use the tissue paper and wrapping paper as the embelishments to each page. I am so excited to see the end product.
I teach 5th grade special ed (this is my first year as a full-time teacher, but not first year teaching) and I start back to work officially on the 23rd. I am hoping to get the majority of the scrapbook done by the time I start school. I have a few training days this week but I will try to post pics as I go so that you can see the process with me
