on our wireless router. We have our router on the desk beside our bed. She never chews on anything and has never destroyed anything. Except the router. She just gnaws on the antena which rotates so we turned it to point down thinking that if it's not sticking up then she won't chew on it. Wrong. She now gnaws on the edge of the router. This only happens between 2-4 am at night. That's it. She never does it during the day...she doesn't even do it all night...just anywhere in the time frame of 2-4 am. I think she's sleeping before that and once we get up and yell at her a few times she stops and goes and plays with something else or goes back to sleep. She has tons of toys and we don't lock her out of our bedroom because we are in a small apartment and she likes to be close to us. Anytime we have closed her out of the bedroom while we're in it she just sits at the door and cries until we let her in. She just started doing this about a month ago and it's not every single night but at least a few nights a week. Shes 1 1/2 years old and has never done this before and like I said before she never chews on anything else. She is very good and usually listens when we discipline her. Some nights it's almost like a game to her. She will get down when we yell at her the first time and then a few minutes later once she thinks we've gone back to sleep she'll jump up and start chewing again. We've checked to make sure she has food because sometimes she'll come in and bug us if her food and water dish are empty (we keep her bowl filled with dry food since she only goes in and picks at it off and on throughout the day. We give her a tsp or 2 of wet food at dinner time) I was thinking about buying bitter apple or something to spray so she won't want to bite it anymore but I'm worried that it will damage the router. Does anyone know of anything natural or any tricks we could try?
