period issues after stopping Nuva Ring??
Hi everyone,
Im new to this site and have never actually posted on a message board like this before. But, given the advice im looking for, i figure: who better to ask than other women?
Here's the deal: i went off of the Nuva Ring in May. Had one normal cycle about a month after. I should have gotten my second period since stopping the ring about 2-3 weeks ago. But......i haven't. Since stopping, my husband and i have been using condoms in addition to spermicide. I am hoping that my body is just trying to regulate itself. Has anyone else experienced anything like this, too? Also, i have noticed that i have been breaking out, too!!
Any and all comments, experiences, suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I never had any issues when stopping Nuva Ring. Have you already taken a pregnancy test, just to be sure? I only ask b/c I broke out while I was pregnant.
It could be your body re-regulating itself. It could be that you're pregnant. Take a test - that will tell you one way or another.
This isn't a NuvaRing specific problem, either - it's just a bcp thing.
I've read other places that if you go 60 days or so without a period and have negative pregnancy tests, it's time to call a doctor.
