I've been considering using your recipe for that fall e-party brunch I've talked about. I'm sure you can make it ahead and leave it assembled in the fridge and just bake it before the guests arrive, but I am always running around like a chicken before guests arrive. I'm wondering if there's a way to fully bake it ahead and have it warming in the oven? Will it dry out?

BTW, the fontina does make this a more expensive mac & cheese but I hope you'll find it worth it.
Hi you guys! It's so funny - I was thinking of doing the same recipe and giving it a "trial run" before my girls' party in Ocotber.
