~*~GrayGhost13~*~, Re: Nature's Miracle/Saran Wrap

I just read your tip about covering carpet with saran wrap after using Nature's Miracle to let it soak in longer. Great tip! How long do you normally let it sit on the carpet this way before blotting?

  • Oh thanks! I can't take the credit. One of the other ladies on this board posted that tip a long time ago, and it has come in handy for me many times.

How long you want to let it soak in depends on how big and how deep the stain is. If it's a real bad one, I pretty much let it soak until it dries naturally. (The longer and deeper the enzymes soak in the better for a bad stain). If you need it to dry more quickly (i.e. you have company coming over or something) you can pull the saran wrap up early and blot it, but if not, I usually leave it at least overnight if not for a couple nights. (And repeat the process until there's no odor left).

    HTH! :)

Thanks for the reply! For some reason I thought blotting the cleaner back up would help get rid of the smell? So if I let it sit and dry on the carpet it won't make the smell worse? Interesting!! I will try this tonight! Thanks!!
